RTL Hover ("the app") is a desktop utility created by Dalit Heldenberg. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: RTL Hover runs entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.
RTL Hover reads selected text only at the moment you trigger the keyboard shortcut, and solely in order to display it correctly in an on-screen overlay. This text is processed locally on your computer. It is never stored, logged, or sent anywhere.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. It does not run in the background collecting information, and it does not build any profile of you or your usage.
The only time the app communicates over the internet is when you enter a license key. At that moment, the key is sent to Lemon Squeezy's License API to verify your purchase. No other personal information is transmitted.
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Payment details (such as card information) are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy and are never seen or stored by us. Please see Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for how they handle checkout data.
The free trial counts your number of uses locally on your device. This counter is stored only on your computer and is not transmitted to us.
Because we do not collect personal data through the app, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete on our side. Any data related to your purchase (such as your email and order record) is held by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.
